About Pinehaven Greenhouse Inc
Located at 39424 Detroit Rd, Avon, OH 44011, Pinehaven Greenhouse Inc operates as a garden center serving Avon in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Avon, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Ohio, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pinehaven Greenhouse Inc at (440) 934-5948; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, pinehavengardencenter.com.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 246 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded garden centers in Avon.
Avon is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Avon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After planting a swamp milkweed last fall and witnessing the incredible life cycle of a monarch butterfly, I went in looking for other similarly straight species of native plants to attract and host different butterflies. Didn't find any, but I came out with a dozen or so beautiful nativar plants I won't feel guilty planting. I'll be back again soon!

We came to Pinehaven to shop for plants for an empty space on the side of our home. The employees were so helpful with answering our questions and helped guide us on options. We are so happy with our new hydrangeas! My kids usually hate going “adult” shopping so it was a huge bonus meeting Basil, the greenhouse cat! My kids just loved her and that helped my husband and I discuss our purchase plan 😊 They also have so many cute garden bed accessories! We will be back again soon! Highly recommended this nursery!

It’s weird they’re open and have annuals but they can’t be bought because it’s “too early”. I understand the risk of frost but that’s up to the customer to protect them. The forecast looks favorable anyway. I’ll go to other greenhouses that have them for sale.

This is a Shout Out to Justin! Such a knowledgeable and gracious young man. We scheduled a session with him to gather ideas for a small English-like garden around our cottage. He shared ideas, expertise, tips and facts. We could not thank him enough.Thank you to Pinehaven for your wonderful inventory of both plant and people.

Spent over $9,000 for my yard to look like this. We have tried endlessly for 4 weeks to get them to reseed our yard. We now have a lean on our house from the HOA because we don't have a yard installed within 180 days, but funny thing is we technically do. Original quote was 7k needed to charge us 2k for additional soil even though they had soil supplied by us from our 40ft patio install. Now they are telling us they will need to regrade and will be charging us for that. Our neighbors have actually begun to ask who did our yard so they can avoid this company. You need to stop dodging our phone calls and make this right.
